Access: Please enter into the Road Closures at Race Course Road to travel across the intersection to get to your location (across from the Hamilton Hotel).
Parking: There is no parking spots for other vehicles in the park, access will only be allowed for bump in purposes. Once you are unload you need to park your vehicle offsite along RACE COURSE ROAD. Please note a number of roads will be closed around Brisbane. To view the list, follow this link
Please see below the Vehicle Access Form. This MUST be filled out by the 8th September so we can get a vehicle pass for you to enter the road closure area.
Bump in from: 4:30am all vehicles must be off site by 5:30am (you may get access before this)
Performance time: 6:10-10:35am
Runners on course: 6:20-10:30am
Bump out: 10:40am
Road Reopens: 12pm
It is important to note that you will be performing across the road from residential areas. If possible, please direct any noise down the road rather than through their windows. All residents have been sent multiple letters about this event, but if you have any trouble with unhappy residents, please direct them to 1300 55 55 77.

Site Rules
- Please ensure that public safety is paramount at all times
- Please ensure where possible you practice the best environmentally sustainable practices with reducing waste, reusing where possible and recycling recyclable produces into the recycling bins
- Please ensure your activation team bring their own reusable water bottles.
- Please ensure you provide appropriate safety items for your activation staff including sunscreen, hats, ponchos, hand sanitiser, masks, etc
- When bumping out it is your responsibility to ensure that all equipment used is packed away and rubbish is disposed of in the appropriate manner
Safety Information
Medical
- Medical staff will be onsite during the Event Day activities. Should your staff or any participants require medical assistance please report to the 1300Medics tent or advise one of the EMS Australia staff.

- In the event of an emergency, always call 000
- If you need medical assistance outside during bump in please contact the venue manager or if it’s an emergency please call 000.
Suspicious Behaviour
- In the unlikely event of any suspicious behaviour please alert EMS Australia team as soon as possible or the nearest security team member.
- Suspicious behaviour can be from the participants or the general public, and can be anything from a bag or backpack left unattended or wearing a large jacket in warm weather or even a person acting irritated.
- If you find an unattended bag/backpack
- Ask if anyone owns it
- If no one does, do not touch it
- Alert others to keep away
- Contact the venue coordinator as soon as possible and they will alert the appropriate people.
